Shon checked in for the Pride out of 22nd Street Sportfishing. They had 13 anglers on a 2-day trip and caught 22 halibut, 52 sheephead, 72 whitefish, 180 rockfish, and 7 halibut Released.

Well we had a great day fishing the island. We did some halibut drifts for a few hours, had a few short bites and one short. We then worked our way into deeper water and put really nice rockfish in the bags. We had lots of big reds and groupers. Everyone is going home with a good bag of fish. Our 28 anglers caught 203 rockfish 12 whitefish 11 lingcod 

Plenty of room next week.

Brandon checked in from the Premier out of San Diego. The Premier with 25 anglers on a 1/2 Day AM caught 217 rockfish.

Gus checked in for the Pursuit out of 22nd Street Landing. We put a day together. Once it was all said and done, we ended up with 7 halibut, 10 sculpin, 11 sheephead, 25 whitefish, 67 reds, 125 rockfish, 113 grouper, and 2 calico Bass. It has been pretty steady fishing at the island on the bottom stuff since the opener and we've had pretty steady shots of halibut in the afternoon. Gus has the current fish report for you below.

Cody checking in from the Californian out of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing. We did the Western Outdoor News rockfish Rumble again. It was a great day of deep-water rockfishing. Everyone caught limits. Pretty darn good fishing for our 38 anglers who caught 380 rockfish and had a fun day. Cody has the current fish report for you below.

Andy checked in for the Enterprise out of Pierpoint Landing. Good day of fishing again today with lots of reds, groupers, chillies, and other miscellaneous rockfish to go with it. Good fishing for sculpin and whitefish as well.

Marina del Rey Sportfishing checked in with today's wrap-up report. They had 3 trips with 85 anglers caught: 760 Total Fish - 472 rockfish, 143 whitefish, 121 red snapper, 20 lingcod, 3 sheephead, and 1 sand bass.

Mike checked in for the Western Pride out of Daveys Locker Newport Beach. We had a pretty good load on the boat, close to 40 people and we went right back out to the bank. They were biting a little bit better today. It was kinda tough conditions. There has been a lot of current the last couple of days. We had to weed through a lot of tangles, but the rockfish were biting well. About 3/4 of the way through the trip we decided to put the anchor down in one spot and the fishing was really good on the anchor at a pretty manageable depth. We ended with around 220-230 mixed rockfish for the day. The weather was beautiful and it was an overall nice day. Mike has the current fish report for you below.

We are offline tomorrow because of a charter, but the Patriot is running the open party trip. We'll be back out on the weekend for double half-day open party on both days!
