ONTARIO, Calif. - Building on the success of the Cedros Coastal Inshore rod series, Okuma has now added Casting models to the lineup. Cedros Coastal graphite rods represent the ultimate in inshore performance and construction. The Cedros Coastal rods are designed for all inshore applications, whether casting from the deck of an inshore boat, or tossing artificials while stocking the beach. Okuma started with lightweight, sensitive, yet strong IM6 graphite blanks. These fast actions feature light, sensitive tips to finesse the lightest bites, yet have the backbone to turn the toughest fighters. The rods are fitted with ALPS double-footed stainless steel guide frames along with ALPS Zirconium oxide inserts. These guides are built to handle the tough strains put on by the combination of braided line, and rugged inshore game fish.
The new Casting models feature a sleek looking, custom ALPS machined aluminum trigger reel seat complete with matching blue and black anodizing. This premium reel seat has graphite inserts to insure snug fits on all reel feet, and the machined trigger offers additional comfort and ultimate strength.
Casting models also feature a split butt rear grip design for reduced weight. Grade A cork for comfort and durability finish these premium game rods. Whether casting, jigging or live baiting, Cedros Coastal rods can handle it all. New Casting models will be available in a variety of actions in lengths from 7' - 8'6".
