Nick is checking in for the Freelance out of Davey's Locker Newport Beach. Nice light load, nice weather, and good fishing. They had easy fishing for rockfish along the beach before going over to Catalina. Once there they had good fishing on the 3 b's barracuda, bonito, and bass. Toss a bait and get it to run away from the boat and you were bit. Nick has all the info for you below, listen in.
