Mike is checking in from the Daiwa Pacific with the latest. Today’s fish count on our overnight charter: Limits of dorado (44), 22 yellowfin tuna and one lonely skipjack Definitely a tougher day for the fleet today with the weather not helping. Scratched a few fish throughout the day and had one very good shot at yellowfin which later turned into wide open dorado fishing. Saw a few very nice schools of 20-50 pound bluefin as well but did not want to bite the hooks Tackle recommendation: 25-30 pound flyline with flourocarbon and a #1 hook A 40-50 pound rod with a 2/0 j-hook A 40-50 pound rod with a colt sniper or small popper
They have room starting Monday, October 3rd.
