Korean Short Rib Lettuce Wraps

  • 1 lb. beef short ribs, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp. minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions
  • 1 head butter lettuce, leaves separated

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, and black pepper.

  2. Add the sliced short ribs to the mixing bowl and stir until the meat is coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the meat marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.

  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated short ribs and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.

  4. Remove the cooked short ribs from the skillet and transfer them to a serving plate. Sprinkle the chopped scallions on top.

  5. To serve, take a lettuce leaf and spoon a few pieces of the cooked short rib onto it. Fold the lettuce leaf around the meat, like a wrap, and enjoy!

These Korean Short Rib Lettuce Wraps are perfect for a quick and delicious meal. Enjoy!
